2016 Theodore Roosevelt Quarter

Design

On the reverse side of the coin the design shows Theodore Roosevelt on a horse looking out over the Little Missouri River. This river runs through Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park is located in the badlands of western North Dakota. This scenic park is great for wildlife viewing and it encompasses a total area of 70,446 acres.

These coins are part of the America the Beautiful quarters program.

The US minted different series of the Theodore Roosevelt quarter. There is the 2016 P quarter, 2016 D quarter, 2016 S quarter, 2016 S proof quarter and 2016 S silver proof quarter.

Clad Quarters

The standard 2016 Theodore Roosevelt clad quarters in circulated condition are only worth their face value of $0.25. These coins only sell for a premium in uncirculated condition.

Both the 2016 P Theodore Roosevelt quarter and 2016 D Theodore Roosevelt quarter are each worth around $0.75 in uncirculated condition with an MS 63 grade. Uncirculated coins with a grade of MS 65 can sell for around $1.

The 2016 S Theodore Roosevelt quarter is worth around $2 in MS 63 uncirculated condition. The value is around $3 in MS 65 uncirculated condition.

The 2016 S proof Theodore Roosevelt quarter is worth around $4.50 in PR 66DC condition. The value is around $15 in PR 69DC condition.
