Design
On the reverse side of the coin the design shows a red mangrove tree in salt water. Mangrove trees are unique trees native to the U.S. Virgin islands.
Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve is located on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This park preserves the marine ecosystem which includes endangered mangrove forests.

The US minted different series of the Salt River Bay quarter. There is the 2020 P quarter, 2020 D quarter, 2020 W quarter, 2020 S quarter, 2020 S proof quarter and 2020 S silver proof quarter.

The 2020 W quarters have a V75 privy mark to honor the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

MS 65 gem uncirculated- There is strong luster and eye appeal. A few light contact marks may be present but they are barely noticeable.
MS 67 superb gem uncirculated- A sharply struck coin with only minor imperfections. There are 3-4 contact marks with only 1-2 in the main focal aras.
PR 68 proof- A near flawless coin. A few light contact marks are present.
