On the reverse side of the coin the design shows a mill employee using a power loom to weave threads. Many female mill workers were employed in the textile industry in Lowell during the Industrial Revolution.

The standard 2019 Lowell clad quarters in circulated condition are only worth their face value of $0.25. These coins only sell for a premium in uncirculated condition.

MS 65 gem uncirculated- There is strong luster and eye appeal. A few light contact marks may be present but they are barely noticeable.
MS 67 superb gem uncirculated- A sharply struck coin with only minor imperfections. There are 3-4 contact marks with only 1-2 in the main focal aras.
PR 68 proof- A near flawless coin. A few light contact marks are present.
