The reverse dies of 2007 and earlier years have a plain letter "U" in the word United. Starting in 2008 the modified dies have a letter "U" with a small serif.
The 2008 W burnished silver eagle with the reverse of 2007 is worth around $600 in uncirculated condition. There were estimated to be 47,000 of these coins minted.
