This tool will calculate the amount of .999 Fine Silver that is contained within a given quantity of .800 , .830 , .850 , .900 , .925 , .950 , .980 Silver jewelry or .999 Silver Bullion, then calculates it's melt value from the spot price you enter.

Just enter the Silver Spot price, select the weight type and enter the weight. Then press "enter" or click the "calculate" button.

You can enter the weight in Micrograms, Milligrams Grains, Pennyweights, Grams, Ounces, Troy Ounces, Troy Pounds, Pounds, Kilo's, Metric Tons, Taels (Hong Kong) and Tolas (India).

The calculator subtracts the weight of the copper then converts the remainder to troy ounces, then it multiplies the troy ounces times the spot price you entered in the first step.Click Here...

To use the Silver Jewelry Melt Value Calculator :
1. Separate your items by purity.
2. Find an accurate scale and weigh the individual groups of .800, .830, .900 and so on.
3. Enter the spot price. (You can put in the spot price located on the calculator or put in any value you want.)
4. Select the weight type you are using..ie grams, grains, ounces...
5. Select the purity..ie, .800, .900...
6. Enter the weight for that group into the appropriate box.
7. Press the "Calculate" button.
